Big Russ to Laveranues Coles: You Little Bitch!
With a week 3 Monday night deficit of 17 points, Big Russ' Laveranues Coles walked on the field. Dropped pass after dropped pass, Coles made for a difficult-to-watch football game. In the end, Big Russ was not victorious. The worst part is that the loss was to Wheeler and his Smokin' Bonecrushers. Dammit!

As a result of the week 3 loss, Big Russ must now share Blue Division 1st place with The Smokin' Bonecrushers and Trunk Monkeys. Dammit again!

Also, Wheeler got the $5 for week 3 (131 points).

The Ball Busters: Coach of the Year!
Long Eared Loungers were able to post their first victory in a week 3 benefit thrown by The Ball Busters. In a move that confused the league's other owners, Rich Frank, owner of the fading Ball Busters, left-in the Green Bay defense against an offense-happy Indianapolis offense. Well, as you can imagine, Indianapolis smacked the Green Bay defense all over the field - it cost The Ball Busters 20 points. Since the loss was only by 17 points, one would wonder, "what if?"

Long Eared Loungers owner, Tim "Check-out my turban" Hinman, excitedly exclaimed, "We're not proud. However we win is good enough for me..."

The Ball Busters' loss dumped them into 4th place in the Orange Division - the Loungers win vaulted the team into: last place.

AND, The Ball Busters were the week 3 lowest scoring team - thanks for the $5.

History Teaches Losing: LZ Loses Second Straight
In a high-scoring battle, Trunk Monkeys were able to edge-out LZ Historians 112 to 101. Even with a big zero from Marty Booker, Trunk Monkeys were able to come-out on top.

Trunk Monkeys climbed into a tie for 1st place in the Blue Division - LZ Historians fell into a tie for last place in the Blue Division.

Drunken Punks Rolled by the Hired Goons
By a big-league margin of 25 points, Fast Eddie's Hired Goons made quick work of the Drunken Punks in a week 3 slapping. The Drunken Punks were able to grab 84 total points - not too bad. Upon closer inspection, nearly half of the Punks points were earned from John Carney - a kicker! Carney kicked for 39 points in week 3 - the rest of the Punks were in the single digits. Suck!

Fast Eddie, on the other hand, experienced solid performances from most of his players. This week 3 match-up resulted in a two-way tie for 1st place in the Orange Division (Segreti & Roecker), and a new point-leader (not that it matters, but is still interesting).

G-Man Can't Buy a Game
G-Man's Army of Darkness turned-in a solid week 3 performance: 91 points, but it was not enough to best the Kama Sutra Kobras: 103 points.

The Kobras slid into victory on a HUGE 45-point performance from Peyton Manning. Wow! G-Man had an equally impressive 39-point performance from Javon Walker. But, in the end, it was the Kobras who were victorious.

G-Man looking ahead to week 4: it's family against family, Godfather style as G-Man will take-on Fast Eddie's Hired Goons. Look for the league only winless team (G-Man) to remain winless.
